Getafe hosted Córdoba with a 1-2 first-leg lead and qualification for the Copa del Rey round of 16 well on track.

Portillo opened the scoring in the 17th and Ángel made it two from the penalty spot in the 42nd. Rober Ibáñez scored right after the break, in the 48th. Aythami pulled one back in the 69th and Ángel completed his treble with two goals in two minutes, in the 77th and 79th.

Bordalás brought on Antunes, Duro and Damián Suárez; Iván Alejo went off in the 56th, Cabrera in the 63rd and Foulquier in the 70th.

Getafe only saw one yellow card, Cristóforo in the 54th.

Martínez Munuera was the referee. It was Ángel's first hat-trick in the Copa del Rey, and the first goal in the competition for Getafe by Portillo, Ángel himself and Rober Ibáñez. The team progress to the round of 16 with a 7-2 aggregate.
