Getafe hosted Cádiz sitting fifth with 37 points, in a direct duel for the playoff spots.

Jorge Molina opened in the 9th minute and Sankaré equalised in the 23rd. Emi Buendía put Getafe ahead again in the 31st with his first goal in the Segunda División, Aketxe levelled in the 68th and Jorge Molina decided it from the penalty spot in the 89th.

Bordalás brought on Portillo, Álvaro and David Fuster; Paul Anton came off in the 62nd minute, Emi Buendía in the 76th and Chuli in the 84th.

Sergio Mora saw a yellow card in the 64th minute, Cata Díaz in the 67th, Portillo in the 79th and Jorge Molina in the 89th.

Pulido Santana was the referee. It was Jorge Molina's first double in the Segunda División for Getafe. The team move up to 40 points and fourth place.
