Getafe now know their opponents in the final qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League: Partizan Belgrade, who sealed their place on Thursday by getting past Tobol of Kazakhstan.
The Serbian side settled the tie with a 3-0 win in the first leg in Belgrade and a 2-1 victory in the return in Kostanay, for a 5-1 aggregate. Tobol went ahead inside the opening minutes through Islam Chesnokov, but Stefan Mitrovic, a former Getafe player, levelled right at the start of the second half and Chaka Traoré completed the turnaround in stoppage time.
The club confirmed the dates for the tie: the first leg will be played at the Coliseum on Thursday 20 August and the return a week later, on 27 August, at Partizan's stadium.
At stake is a place in the league phase of the competition, the last door left for the azulones to reach a main European stage this season.
Before that first European night, Getafe open their LaLiga campaign away at Mendizorroza against Alavés.
